The thing that shocked me in this chapter was the fact the archaeologist Bill Rathje was doing research on a landfill and not looking for fossils or old runes. I found it kind of funny at the beginnning of the chapter when he found a guacamole when everyine was trying to figure it out. It interesting that he spent his time looking though trash dumps.
